Directions:Write a poem about what you "look out" into the world and see. You must...

-Use at least 75 words
-Do not use rhyme!
"I sit and look out to a world filled with unkept promises.
I hear the cries of pain coming from all directions.
I see people clutching onto their chest as if there was an empty hole within them, breaking them in two.
I see people crying from their heart, their bleeding, broken heart.
I mark the day my heart was also torn from my chest and trampled on.
I see the ocean of lies under dark and stormy clouds of deception.
I observe their pain for I understand all too well what they're going through.
All these people have now experienced the pain that I've felt from that fateful day."
(Haha. Don't worry people. I don't feel this way anymore. I may have felt this way at one point in my life, but I've learned that you need to learn from your experiences no matter how painful it may seem. It's part of life. You're bound to get hurt at least once in your life, but it's important for you not to dwell on the past and to just learn from the pain and move on with your life. Learning from your experiences will help you with the long hard obstacles to come. =])
